Background: Michael is an avid racewalker since 1995 and former President of the Walking Club of Georgia. He received his training in racewalking from renowned former Atlanta trainer and racewalking guru, Bonnie Stein, including 3 separate ten week advanced class sessions and private lessons. He has also officiated in many judged racewalks throughout the Atlanta area. He enjoys competitive 5K and 10K judged racewalks and has many age group medals and trophies for his efforts. Michael equally enjoys the camaraderie of non-competitive exercise enthusiasts. He is returning for his second year with GFA.
