Get Fit Racers are Tough Mudders!!

Get Fit racers faced brutal conditions March 5th at the GUTS Georgia Reactor Run. The cold temps, relentless rain and epic mud made for one truly crazy race. Our 100 mile racers, Ron Hines and John Ridgley, were forced to quit at 80 and 53 miles respectively because of the poor trail conditions and plummeting temps. They are still amazing athletes in our books! Cherie Eason completed her first 50 miler in the same year she turned 50 – way to go Coach Cherie! – and Peggy Dwyer and Jennifer Ridgley each completed the 50K and was both of their second ultras.

Special Thanks goes to the Get Fit Support Team headed up by Coach Mike Delang: Erica Cochran, Corona Horton and Faraz Bassari were amazing pacers for our 100 and 50 mile racers while Marietta Hollada, Harry Goslow, Julie Southard, Maria Cox, Andrea Hillman, Yvette Webb, Mike Luebeck, Gordon Bell, Dawn Burke and Doug Cleason were our incredible aid station workers and cheering section! You guys are the best!
